Amelia is an editorial and brand strategist with 15+ years of experience in media, management, and journalism—particularly in health, parenting, travel, and lifestyle content. She is adept at growing audiences and exceeding company goals while executing on a data-driven yet human-focused publishing approach. She's an amplifier of diverse voices, and a proponent of digital innovation. Amelia has a track record of simultaneously increasing site quality, brand visibility, and business revenue while streamlining editorial operations and maximizing readership, engagement, and retention. Amelia is from NYC but currently living in Nashville and often found on the road / in the air / around the globe. She’s a graduate of Vassar College (BA), New York University (MA), and has also studied at St. Andrews University in Scotland, The Center for Book Arts, and the Unterberg Poetry Center at 92Y. She was a writer in residence at Rivendell Writer's Colony in Sewanee, TN and has been published by Travel + Leisure, InStyle, Refinery29, Parents, Self, SheKnows, Stylecaster, Yahoo News, The London Evening Standard, The Fix, MTV Act, MindBodyGreen, TRVLBEES, Thought Catalog, and others. She has appeared as a speaker and moderator at the BlogHer conferences and is a poet with The Porch's Poetry on Demand / Versify podcast.

Amelia is currently Senior Editorial Director of Parents (formerly Parents Magazine). She has previously held editorial leadership positions working with Verywell Family, Real Simple, Health, Better Homes & Gardens, SheKnows, and Refinery29. She insists on the Oxford comma.
